Common questions
Do I need a paid plan to try JomSnap?
No — the Free plan covers a full single event with no credit card required. Upgrade only if you need more guests, photos, or AI moderation.
Who processes payments, and is my card safe?
All payments are processed by Chip, our payment gateway — your card details are entered directly on Chip's own secure checkout page and never touch JomSnap's servers. We never see or store your full card number.
What payment methods can I use?
Card (Visa, Mastercard, and more), FPX online banking, DuitNow QR, e-wallets, and other methods Chip offers at checkout. Only card payments can auto-renew a monthly subscription — paying by another method is a one-time charge for that period, and you'll need to come back and pay again before it ends to keep your plan active.
What's the difference between buying an event and subscribing?
Small Event and Large Event are a one-time charge that covers a single event, no recurring billing. Pro and Business are monthly subscriptions for hosts running several events, with a shared events/photo allowance across your account.
Do my guests need to pay for anything?
Never. Guests join and capture for free no matter which plan the host is on — there's no guest-facing cost at any tier.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Buy another event-tier credit any time, or subscribe to Pro/Business once you're running events regularly.
What happens if a subscription payment fails?
Your account gets a grace period to update payment before any event is locked, so a single failed renewal won't interrupt an event in progress.
Is there a contract or long-term commitment?
No. Pay-per-event tiers have no commitment at all, and subscriptions are billed month to month with no lock-in — cancel any time.
